About the Journal

Energy Systems and Applications is an international, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing the understanding and development of energy systems and their diverse applications. We publish high-quality original research articles, reviews, and technical notes that contribute to the scientific and engineering aspects of energy.

We welcome submissions from academics, researchers, and industry professionals across engineering, physics, chemistry, materials science, environmental science, and related disciplines. Our goal is to serve as a leading platform for the dissemination of cutting-edge research that addresses global energy challenges and promotes sustainable energy solutions for the future.

The journal applies a double-blind peer-review process to publish original and high-quality research, thus ensuring that the published studies comply with academic standards. The published articles are published in an open access policy and accessible to everyone.

Energy Systems and Applications aims to be a valuable resource for researchers, academicians and engineers in line with its mission of disseminating and transferring scientific knowledge.

The journal is published twice a year, in May and November.

ESA will publish its first issue in June 2026.
