Aims & Scope
Energy Systems and Applications is an international, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing the understanding and development of energy systems and their diverse applications. We are committed to publishing original and high-quality research that complies with rigorous academic standards. To ensure objectivity and impartiality, the journal employs a double-blind peer-review process.
The journal covers a broad spectrum of topics related to energy, including but not limited to:
- Renewable Energy Sources: Solar, wind, hydro, geothermal, biomass, and other emerging renewable energy technologies.
- Conventional Energy Systems: Enhancements, efficiency improvements, and environmental impacts of fossil fuel and nuclear energy systems.
- Energy Conversion and Storage: Technologies for converting one form of energy to another (e.g., fuel cells, thermoelectric devices) and various energy storage solutions (e.g., batteries, supercapacitors, hydrogen storage, thermal energy storage).
- Energy Efficiency and Conservation: Strategies and technologies for reducing energy consumption in industrial, commercial, and residential sectors.
- Smart Grids and Energy Management: Integration of renewable energy, demand-side management, energy forecasting, and optimization in smart grid environments.
- Energy Policy and Economics: Analysis of energy markets, policy frameworks, socio-economic impacts of energy transitions, and energy access.
- Sustainable Energy Systems: Life cycle assessment, environmental impact mitigation, and sustainable development goals related to energy.
- Advanced Materials for Energy Applications: Novel materials for improved energy efficiency, conversion, and storage.
- Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer: Fundamental and applied research in thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics relevant to energy systems.
- Energy in Buildings: Building energy performance, smart building technologies, and sustainable architecture.
In line with its mission of disseminating and transferring scientific knowledge, Energy Systems and Applications aims to be a valuable resource for researchers, academicians, and engineers. All published articles are made available under an open access policy, ensuring they are freely accessible to everyone.
The journal is published twice a year, with issues released in March and October. We welcome submissions from academics, researchers, and industry professionals across engineering, physics, chemistry, materials science, environmental science, and related disciplines. Our goal is to serve as a leading platform for the dissemination of cutting-edge research that addresses global energy challenges and promotes sustainable energy solutions for the future.
