Energy Systems and Applications embraces a full open access policy, believing that unrestricted access to research fosters a wider global exchange of knowledge and benefits humanity. Since its establishment in 2026, our journal has made all its content freely available worldwide, requiring no permission from the publisher or author(s). This means users can read, download, distribute, print, and link to articles without seeking prior approval, provided they cite the journal. This policy aligns with and is a signatory to the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI), promoting greater academic impact and wider dissemination of research.
